Freedom is a Privilege

Freedom is a Privilege is about the rights of asylum seekers and why they should be protected. I incorporated a charcoal image with an inside view of a birdcage with feathers scattered on the floor of the cage. The image is a representation of how asylum seekers feel their freedom is being taken away from them and is something very difficult to earn. And the cage represents how trapped they are in their home country. The very rounded corners on the top of the image add on to the the feeling as if you are inside the cage. This piece was geared towards left leaning people of Gen Z.
